I am hoping that I can be an asset to any future company I work for and I am sure that I will! It has been sometime since I worked, as I took on the responsibility of caring for my elderly mother in her 90's, who had considerable health issues in her declining years. I have received training in Cognitive Therapy, Suicide Assessment and Intervention and bring those work skills to my work environment. I have always been thorough with documentation and reports, both annual and quarterly with appropriate care plans and know exactly what should be in them for continuation of care. So, between those experiences and working effectively in foster care, I am steeped in the complexities of family dynamics and constructive solutions and interventions. I am married with three daughters, two of which I raised by myself. Before finishing my Bachelors and MSW degree, I managed two jewelry stores for 20 years, so I have good business sensibilities, which I lend to social work when needed. I still have reference letters, which I will provide from long time employers. Although I am in good health, this will be most likely be my last job, so I want to insure a good fit. I prefer to work on contract, but I am open to all possibilities. In the past, I have worked in hospitals (4 years), Department of Corrections (2 years), foster care (8 years), SJC Behavioral Health (1.5 years) and Children's Services (1 year) and the Regional Center off and on for (2 years). I have completed all continuing education on Telehealth practice. I prefer a position with a good percentage Telehealth involvement, due to the pandemic and my age, but otherwise I am in good health and fully vaccinated.
